Pioneer of Style, Grace and Fashion: Ann Bonfoey Taylor

We love originality, trueness of spirit, and daring. Ann Bonfoey Taylor exemplified all of those qualities and then some! We are delighted that the Phoenix Art Museum is currently holding an exhibition entitled FASHION INDEPENDENT: The Original Style of Ann Bonfoey Taylor. Ann Bonfoey Taylor, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 96 spent a lifetime amassing… or rather curating… a collection of large quantities of Balenciaga, Charles James, Madame Grès and Givenchy, to name some of the heavy weights. The exhibit features 200 pristine pieces, including 60 ensembles, the bulk of which date from the Fifties to the Seventies. Fashion Independent runs through May 29.
